Making it Chic for Cheap!

I just love doing high end dupes, especially from stores like Pottery Barn and Anthropologie. This time my item as a Wayfair "dupe", rather, more like an inspired piece. I was given a bath gift set at Christmas and all the soaps and stuff came in this cute tub.

I knew it would be perfect for this challenge, hosted by Christi Creates over on YouTube. The object of the challenge is to create something chic for cheap! I think I accomplished that with mine.

I painted the tub white and used black paint to give it the distressed enamel look. Then I used some Dollar Tree floral foam and some lavender picks I had on hand to create a mini garden. I would say it definitely has a farmhouse feel to it. I may repaint it to give it an even more authentic cast iron tub look, but for now this is the finished result.
